Eco-Design Regulation 2019/2020/EU

With the regulation coming into force on 1 September 2021, LED2WORK has been implementing the requirements across the entire product range incrementally until the end of the transition period on 1 March 2022. All necessary information and documentation can be found with the respective product.

Important: an energy label on the luminaire packaging is not required for LED2WORK products. The labelling obligation applies only to light sources separately sold (e.g. LED retrofit bulbs). The integrated light source is clearly identifiable in the technical documentation and listed in the EU product database EPREL.

RoHS / RoHS3

Self-declaration on EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS II) and 2015/863/EU (RoHS3). The directive restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

LED2WORK products assigned to signal and industrial lighting comply with the requirements of the RoHS3 directive.

WEEE — waste electronics take-back

LED2WORK is registered under the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG). Producer WEEE number on request. End-of-life equipment is disposed of via the public take-back scheme; commercial customers can request direct take-back by individual agreement.

Conflict minerals (3TG)

LED2WORK does not knowingly source raw materials or semi-finished goods from conflict regions as defined by EU Regulation 2017/821 (tantalum, tungsten, tin, gold — "3TG"). Suppliers are regularly required to provide self-declarations in the RMI (Responsible Minerals Initiative) format.

REACH

LED2WORK products do not contain substances of very high concern (SVHC) above the REACH (Regulation 1907/2006/EC) reporting threshold of 0.1 % by weight per article. An updated SVHC list is provided on request.
